Day-by-Day Itinerary
Leave Fes and travel through Ifrane, the cedar forest with monkeys, and Midelt before crossing the Ziz Valley. In the afternoon, ride camels into the golden dunes of Merzouga. Watch the sunset, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.
Wake up early for a sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore Merzouga’s desert area with its oases, fossils, and seasonal lake. Meet locals in small villages and enjoy the peaceful views of the Sahara before returning to your camp for another night of desert magic.
After breakfast, ride back from the camp and drive through Rissani and Erfoud, famous for fossils. Visit the amazing Todra Gorge with its high cliffs, perfect for walking and photos. Continue through the Dades Valley with its unique rock formations and stay overnight in a local hotel.
Drive through the Rose Valley and Skoura oasis, then visit the UNESCO site of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous old kasbah. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass with stunning views before arriving in Marrakech in the evening, where the tour ends.
