Day-by-Day Itinerary
We pick you up early in Marrakech and drive over the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n Tichka pass. Enjoy fresh air and stunning mountain views. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site seen in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Gate of the Desert, for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit the Atlas Film Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Drive through the green Draa Valley with its palm groves, kasbahs, and Berber villages, stopping for lunch in Nkob or Alnif. In the afternoon, arrive at the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Ride camels at sunset to your luxury desert camp, enjoy dinner with Berber drum music, and sleep under the stars.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4. Stop in Rissani to visit its lively souk, then in Erfoud to see fossil workshops. Drive through palm groves to reach Todra Gorge and walk between its tall red canyon walls. Continue to Dades Valley, stopping at the Monkey Fingers rock formation and a viewpoint over the valley. Dinner and overnight in Dades.
After breakfast, visit Rose Valley in Kalaa Magouna, known for its rose products like oil and water. Pass through the palm-filled Skoura Oasis and visit the Amridil Kasbah. Continue to Ouarzazate for lunch if you like, then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where your Morocco tour ends.
