Day-by-Day Itinerary
We pick you up early in Marrakech and drive over the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n Tichka pass. Stop to enjoy great mountain views, then visit the old clay kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, seen in movies like Gladiator and The Mummy. End the day in Ouarzazate, known as the Gate of the Desert.
After breakfast, visit the famous Atlas Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate. Travel through the green Draa Valley with its palm trees, old kasbahs, and Berber villages. Stop for lunch near Nkob or Alnif before continuing to Merzouga. At the dunes, ride camels to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy dinner by the fire, Berber music and dancing, and sleep under the stars.
