Day-by-Day Itinerary
We pick you up early in Marrakech and drive across the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n Tichka pass. Enjoy fresh air and amazing mountain views. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site seen in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Gate of the Desert, then pass through Skoura’s palm groves and the Rose Valley before arriving in Dades Valley for the night.
After breakfast, enjoy the views of Dades Valley’s dramatic cliffs. Visit Todra Gorge and walk between its tall red canyon walls. Drive through palm oases to reach Merzouga in the afternoon. Ride a camel into the dunes at sunset, enjoy dinner by the fire with Berber music, and spend the night in a luxury desert camp under the stars.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4, then travel through Rissani’s market, Erfoud’s fossil workshops, and the scenic Ziz Valley. Stop for lunch in Midelt, then continue through cedar forests where Barbary macaque monkeys live. Pass by Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, and arrive in Fes by evening.
